Past History Café & Walking Tour – When Crafty Women Move Domestic Arts to the Public Realm

Stroll past “Bee” members’ homes, and hear their stories; all in the Hooper-Lee-Nichols House vicinity. Tour led by Steve Pinkerton. Meet in front of the Longfellow House National Historical Site, 105 Brattle Street. Tour starts promptly at 5:30pm, please arrive a few minutes early.

A parlor conversation with Steve Pinkerton & Pamela Baldwin about two ‘craftivist’ moments: Cambridge’s own Civil War “Bee,” and the recent “Pussyhat Project;” moderated by Diana Lempel. Also a look at the Society’s “Bee” collections, with intern Heather Larson.
